According to reports in The Mirror, Chelsea FC and Nigerian international midfielder is a wanted man by five Premier League clubs including West Bromwich Albion, Newcastle United, Swansea City, Southampton, and Everton. The Mirror and many other outlets have reported that these clubs are looking to add Victor Moses on loan after he failed to impress last season while on loan at Liverpool.

Moses was an integral part of the Chelsea side that won the Europa League in 2013 but he was dropped in the pecking order by Jose Mourinho and was sent out on loan to Liverpool. He did not make much of an impact for the Reds and was often behind Raheem Sterling and Phillipe Coutinho in the pecking order.

An excerpt from The Mirror‘s article on Victor Moses:

"“Chelsea flop Victor Moses is reportedly being chased by West Brom. The 23-year-old forward failed to make an impression while on loan at Liverpool last season – and now faces a season warming the bench at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are unlikely to recoup the £9million they paid Wigan for Moses in 2012, so another loan move looks likely, according to The Sun.The Nigerian is said to be a top target for the Baggies but Swansea, Southampton, Everton and Newcastle are also reported to be interested.Albion boss Alan Irvine is on the look out for option up front after the end of Scott Sinclair and Morgan Amalfitano’s loan spells.Source: The Mirror"

Victor Moses has proven in the past that he can be a competent Premier League player and can even shine under the right circumstances. He did little to impress at Liverpool but he was also not given many opportunities to do so. A player needs to play regularly to build up a rhythm and a chemistry with his teammates but Moses was unable to do either. It is unlikely he will get that chance to do so at Chelsea so another loan is likely the best option for his future.
