Chelsea FC: Lucas Piazon Unsure Of His Future
Chelsea FC youngster Lucas Piazon told the club’s official website that he is unsure of what the future holds but that he will try and do the best thing for himself and his career. Piazon is back at Cobham after spending a fine season on loan in the Netherlands with Vitesse Arnhem. The young Brazilian was the club’s best player in the first half of the season and they were top of the table but the club’s place petered off as did Piazon’s performance.

He returned to Chelsea and has already featured and looked good in the preseason match against Wycombe Wanderers yesterday. Piazon has another chance to impress before the rest of the senior squad arrives from their post-World Cup holiday on Monday. Chelsea face AFC Wimbledon and Lucas Piazon will certainly hope for another chance to prove his worth to the Chelsea brass.
"“It’s always nice to be here and to see everybody again and to see the friends that I’ve spent a lot of time with,” he told the official Chelsea website. I don’t know what is going to happen but at the moment I’m really happy to be here. I will play in pre-season until we make a decision and I will try to do what’s the best thing for me.”“It was a really good experience. I played a lot of games which is very important for me now. I think I did a good job in the beginning. Lucas Piazon has always been an intriguing talent and he has the versatility to play all over the pitch. He is still young and is simply not good enough just yet to become a full time member of the senior squad. A loan to a Premier League or Bundesliga side would do wonders for his development and would help him keep his Chelsea career on the right track.
