Chelsea FC take a trip up north to Manchester to take on defending Premier League champions Manchester City Sunday at the Ethiad Stadium. Last season, Chelsea managed a 1-0 win against the Citizens at Manchester, winning on a glorious strike from Branislav Ivanovic.

Chelsea received some good news following a disappointing midweek draw against Schalke 04 in the Champions League, as Diego Costa will be fit to lead the line against Manchester City Sunday. The Spaniard has 7 goals in 4 league matches so far, and the hope will be that he will be ready to bang in another goal or two.

Manager Jose Mourinho has said Costa is not yet fit enough for Chelsea FC to run him our for multiple matches a week, and so the striker was rested against Schalke, but will start against Manchester City and be rested again against Bolton in the Capital One Cup next week.

"‘Diego is not in the best condition but he will start the game. He plays this game, he won’t play against Bolton, and he plays against Aston Villa. Let’s see his evolution.”- Jose Mourinho"

Chelsea are currently on top of the Premier League table with the full 12 possible points. Chelsea fans will hope to remain on top after Sunday, with another 3 full points.

Predicted Chelsea FC Starting XI:

———————Courtois——————-
Azpilicueta—-Cahill—-JT———Ivanovic
—————-Matic—–Fabregas———–
Schurrle———-Oscar————Hazard–
———————Costa———————–

Predicted Result:
Manchester City 1-2 Chelsea FC

I believe Chelsea will see another goal from Diego Costa (set up by Cesc Fabregas) and/or Eden Hazard and the boys in Chelsea Blue will remain on top of the Premier League table.
