Chelsea travel to Turf Moor to take on a difficult Burnley side on Sunday. Here are some predictions from The Pride Of London writers.

Chelsea will look to continue their fine form when they visit Burnley on Sunday afternoon. Sean Dyche’s men have been tough to beat at home and the Blues will need all of their collective focus and concentration to earn three points. Here are our score predictions.

Daniel McClue: 3-0. Genuinely quite worried about this game due to Burnley’s tremendous home form. But Antonio Conte is not a man to let complacency set in. Hazard scores another wonder-goal, Azpilicueta gets on the scoresheet and Chalobah nets a screamer!

Andre Carlisle: 1-0 Burnley. With Chelsea likely to be heavily favored in their next seven matches, you may think this would be a good time for the dark arts to take some time off, learn the guitar or go somewhere picturesque to try and paint the memory. You would be wrong. Arsenal, Liverpool, and City all play each other during this run, and Tottenham have matches against Liverpool and a suddenly in-form Everton. It’s up to Chelsea to ensure any results obtained by an adversary feel futile. Burnley away will be a good test of intent – they’ll pass 2-0.

Travis Tyler: 2-0. Either Hazard helps to create both goals, or Fabregas will be needed off the bench to do it. Regardless, one of the creative players will need to have a good day to tarnish Burnley’s home record a bit.

More from The Pride of London

Scott Brant: 2-0. Turf Moor has not been good to visitors this season. With Burnley winning 9 of 13 at home, Chelsea hands will be full. The Blues look to continue their hunt of the trophy and Burnley will be no different. The Blues get the win with ease.

Connor Tomko: 1-0. Burnley have the third best home record in the league and they should give even an in-form Chelsea a game. But we know the Blues are equipped to grind out results and should be able to get one to maintain their lead at the top. Hoping Cesc provides another legendary assist at the Turf Moor.

Ajitesh Rasgotra: 2-1. Burnley have a fantastic home record and Conte’s men will be forced to struggle. The Blues will come through in the end, though, as Diego Costa finds the net and Cesc Fabregas proves to be a super sub.
