I know this may not be one of the most memorable for many Chelsea supporters, but for me this was the starting of it all. After this day, I was a Blue and till now I am one and I will be one for the time to come. Yes, it was an unlucky slip by our Captain, but that moment when the whole team consoled Terry along with the then manager Avram Grant, I don’t know if there are any superstitious elements at play here, but I was taken to that moment and from that minute onwards I knew I was a Blue.

I hear that people support their clubs because they love certain players in the club or they like the tactics etc. but my love for Chelsea is something more than such mere technicalities. I love the togetherness in the club and that unshakable spirit of a ‘never say die’ attitude which they showcase time and time again. We face a lot of criticism and more criticism than certain other clubs, but I love the way we can stare at their faces at all times never giving up on a fight. This is who we are and I love to identify myself with such a belief and a philosophy.
