Pedro

Pedro had nothing short of a difficult first season in English football. He arrived as Chelsea’s big summer signing, yet he failed to deliver. Coming from a team that had Lionel Messi as his anchor, the rigours of the Premier League seem to fox him.

Fortunately, he improved as the season wore on and finally appeared to be hitting his straps under Guus Hiddink. Now, he will want to show Chelsea fans what he can bring to the table during Euro 2016.

Whether it be in terms of goalscoring or playmaking, Pedro needs to contribute significantly. This is not just to show Antonio Conte that he is worth a key role next season, but also to show Del Bosque that he should be utilised.

While we have already stated the difficulties Azpilicueta and Fabregas will have getting into the Spain team, Pedro has the hardest task of the lot. His competitors for a place may not necessarily be the biggest of names, but they are all in fine form.

When on the field, he will be relied upon to make something happen for Spain. The other forwards do not have a significant amount of international football under their belt, but Pedro has won the World Cup. His leadership qualities will thus be also put to the test.
