Antonio Conte will give most of his Premier League XI a rest against Wolves in Chelsea’s FA Cup tie on Saturday. Nathan Ake, Kenedy and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are set for an important weekend in their development.

After a disappointing draw against Burnley, Chelsea face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup. Wolves upset Liverpool in the previous round, but are on about the same level as Brentford.

Antonio Conte will want this game to be a bounce back after Burnley, whilst also giving plenty of opportunities to players to start over some of the more disappointing starters. A continued FA Cup run is vital to these players as it can help them find more opportunities in the Premier League if they do well enough.

Asmir Begovic

1, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Begovic will get a temporary reprieve from his purgatory when Chelsea face Wolves. It is no surprise that Bournemouth wanted Begovic in the transfer window. He has a strong argument for being the best second-choice keeper in the league. At other clubs, that would mean a fair amount of starts. At Chelsea, who have Thibaut Courtois, it means resigning oneself to the cup matches. He has been a great and respectful athlete, but the remaining cup games will be his only minutes this season.
