Right Wing: Mason Mount, Chelsea

Mason Mount has played well in Chelsea’s first two matches of Project Restart. His match against Aston Villa was great as he was the squad’s leading creative force. He gave the Blues so many chances to score from each side of the pitch and in different positions. Despite being a top class attacking midfielder, the young Englishman has excelled out wide this season too. Mount has turned into a crucial starter for the Blues and would make a difference in a majority of sides across Europe. Additionally, he’s a work horse for Chelsea, seemingly always staying fit.

Striker: Jamie Vardy, Leicester City

Jamie Vardy is having another great season leading the Foxes’ line. He sits atop the Premier League in goals and has been one of Leicester City’s best players this season. Without Vardy’s goals, who knows where Leicester would be in the table, but it wouldn’t be third. He’s scored more goals and is more experienced than Tammy Abraham, which is the reasoning behind Vardy getting the nod in the combined XI.

Left Wing: Christian Pulisic, Chelsea

Christian Pulisic has been brilliant for the Blues this season. He has been injured for extended periods of time, but has made a substantial difference in the matches he has played. Pulisic has had a great start to Project Restart, scoring one goal in each of Chelsea’s first two matches. The American staying healthy will be crucial for the Blues going forward as he looks to be the team’s best attacking threat.

A combined XI of Leicester City and Chelsea looks nearly unstoppable. The squad is a good mix of Leicester City players and Chelsea players with six from the Foxes and five from the Blues. A duo of Kante and Ndidi in the midfield would be defensively menacing while Pulisic, Mount, and Vardy would be lethal on the attack. Rudiger and Soyuncu at center back would be a tough pair to beat seeing as they are both tall, big and strong. Chilwell and Azpilicueta at full back would round out the defense.
