Jorginho Frello

Tuchel is likely going to revert back to his most trusted formation for this contest seeing as his lack lack of availability in midfield is a matter for concern. Jorginho is the only fit regular starter of the bunch with N’Golo Kante out for a month, Mateo Kovacic’s starting fitness still unknown and Loftus-Cheek picking up a hamstring injury against the saints. He’s started the campaign fairly well, which is hugely important to the team given the injuries to others.

The Blues will need him to carry on with his early season success throughout the next couple of weeks, with the number of injuries even though the midfield position is one that was reinforced on deadline day with the acquisition of Zakaria on loan from Juventus. It’s a thing of certainty that that Tuchel doesn’t like to put this much pressure and responsibility on one player. However, if there’s anyone in the team who has the experience, talent and adeptness to shoulder the responsibilities of whatever is brought at him, it’s Jorginho.

Reece James

One of Chelsea’s most consistent player of the season so far, the England defender was out of the match day squad that visited Southampton.
We expect him to be back for the match day, after all, it was just an illness
He is expected to play his favorite fullback position rather than the right centre back position he was tasked by Tuchel to play. James on his day is one of the best players on the pitch. His passing ability- both his long balls and cross-field passes are always all on point. James always looks sharp, attacking and defending well when the team needed him the most. Talking about a defender who does everything perfectly.
