Attackers

Cole Palmer (No. 20), RW/RAM, England

Chelsea did not need Palmer in the League Phase, but it would be arrogant and overconfident not to involve him from this point forward. Maresca's men have a way of making relatively easy games more complicated, and given how poor the club has been defensively, the Blues may need to be bailed out at some point tomorrow.

Pedro Neto (No. 7), LW/LAM, Portugal

Neto played very well against Southampton, though he was primarily occupying the center-forward position. He is not a forward, but considering that Chelsea only has Christopher Nkunku—who is not a striker—as a striking option, Maresca might opt to see Neto up top again. However, he's more likely to start this game as a wide player.

Christopher Nkunku (No. 18), CF, France

Nkunku played well in his last game for the Blues, but fans had unsavory things to say about him in games that weren’t against Southampton. He has a chance to show that he can be a presence in the box for Chelsea and effectively occupy the role that Nicolas Jackson was playing.

Chelsea needs to perform well in this away fixture, so that Maresca can rest some players in the second leg, allowing him to push for UEFA Champions League qualification.
