Every team in world football has its biggest star and Chelsea FC’s is Eden Hazard. He is the Blues’ most dynamic attacking player and for much of last season was their only real attacking threat. As Eden Hazard goes so goes the rest of the team and the same can be said about Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

More from Chelsea FC News

Hazard told the Daily Mail that he is not the “Messi or Ronaldo” of Chelsea because he is not good enough but he is working to try and reach that level. The dynamic Belgian had a bit of a reputation as a diva when he joined Chelsea but in his time in London he has been mostly saying and doing all the right things.

"“It’s too much for me, actually. I don’t like it. I am not this year better than them. They are here and I am here (holding his hands flat, one at head height and one by his chest). I need to work, I am getting closer. I was voted the Young Player of the Year, but I am 23. My first trophy in France was the Young Player of the Year. I was 17.Chelsea is not just one player. It is not only me. We have signed a lot of players. Now we have some good signings like Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa. Diego can score and that is good for me. Fabregas is one of the best midfielders in the world and we can have the chance to play, not better than last season because we had a lot of good games, but in an offensive style. I think together we can beat every team.”-Eden HazardSource: The Daily Mail"

Hazard is becoming more and more of a team player under Jose Mourinho and it is a fantastic transformation for the youngster. He is earning more and more creative freedom but is still being held to his defensive responsibilities by his manager and his teammates. The next step is there for the taking for young Eden and he looks set to take it very soon.
