Chelsea travel to Wales on Sunday to take on Swansea City as the Premier League returns. Here are some predictions from The Pride Of London staff.

After the bore that is the international break, domestic football returns this weekend. Chelsea resume their Premier League campaign on Sunday, travelling to Wales to face off with Swansea City. Here are predictions from The Pride Of London staff. Our assist this week comes from random Twitter follower @DeanMrharris!

Dean Harris: 2-0 Chelsea. The manager is getting the work rate out of the players who are looking much fitter than last season. After watching them at the Bridge against Burnley, it’s clear that the hunger is back.

Ayushman Basu: Chelsea 3-0 Swansea. Yes, the Blues will keep a clean sheet with the defense shoring up. Eden Hazard and co. will do their jobs up front for an impressive victory.

Scott Brant: Chelsea 3 Swansea City 1. The Blues win pretty easily, Hazard dominating once again. Swansea nick a goal towards the end.

More from The Pride of London

Travis Tyler: 1-0 to the Blues. Spirits are high, though the international break will only have killed the momentum that Chelsea had going after four straight wins. A tight game will just barely see the Blues victorious as they get back into the swing of things.

Daniel McClue: 2-0 Chelsea. Swansea are real relegation candidates this year and will offer little threat. A cruise to victory to show how quickly things change in 12 months.

Andre Carlisle: 1-1. The international break proves taxing on some Chelsea stars and an underrated Swansea defense makes the return to club football difficult. Michy Batshuayi atones for his missed penalty with Belgium and scores late to prevent the upset.

Barrett Rouen: 3-1 Blues. Everybody will be excited to be back in blue after the international break and it will be exemplified in the victorious, if frenzied, scoreline.

GAME COVERAGE: Chelsea vs. Swansea City: Predicted 4-1-4-1 lineup features new arrivals

Elkebir Lamrani: 0-2. This is a Swansea team that has lost the freshness it used to have under Garry Monk; most importantly, the Swans lost their captain Ashley Williams. Having lost their last two games, I can’t see them winning against a Blues side willing to silence last season’s doubters.

Khaled Abdallah: 2-0 Chelsea. Dominant performance on the cards for a Blues squad that’s feeling good about themselves against a Swansea City squad that’s struggling to replace the big names they sold this summer. Antonio Conte’s men continue their perfect start ahead of a big match against Liverpool.

Brendan McDonnell: 1-1. I’m not loving the trip to the Liberty Stadium. Maybe I’m having awful flashbacks to last season’s debacle of a match that featured 8 cards and the likely end of American Matt Miazga’s Chelsea’s tenure.

Drew Hooper: 2-0 to the good guys. Swansea City struggle to score and Chelsea are clicking right now. Hope to see debuts for the new signings but overall the Blues should handle their business.

Ajitesh Rasgotra: 3-0. Easy win for the Blues as they maintain their 100% record.

Here is how we currently stand. Five points for the correct scoreline and three for just the result. The might of the many is defeating all of us…
