With another amazing title run, Antonio Conte extended his winning ways to Chelsea with a Premier League title. In the words of DJ Khaled, all Conte does is “Win, win, win no matter what”.

Antonio Conte has four top-tier league titles in as many years managed: three at Juventus, and one at Chelsea. A loss undoubtedly causes this man to miss sleep. Not to worry, though. In the 137 league matches he managed at Juventus and Chelsea, he lost only ten, going 102W-25D-10L

That means Antonio Conte brings back 2.40 points per game, and a astounding 74.4 win percentage. His teams also average 1.98 goals per match, while allowing only 0.65.

His is a truly impressive resume in toto, not to mention his successful run at Siena. The Italian was tasked with getting Siena promoted back to Serie A after they were relegated shortly before his appointment. He succeeded there, ensuring Siena spent only a single season in Serie B.

Everything Antonio Conte touches turns to gold. As a player, he was a relentless worker who filled his trophy case just as efficiently as he would as a manager. He never quits, and he continuously instills hard work, perseverance, and determination.

“Winning is everything.” Antonio Conte and his players alike have repeated that simple phrase this season. It’s a mentality that repels complacency, laziness, and selfishness. It’s a mantra that encourages hard work and togetherness.

Everybody that has ever played a competitive sport knows winning isn’t literally everything. Respect for your competitors, officials and sport come ahead of the result. But very little else can supersede winning a challenge, bet, game or any competitive activity. If you look at Antonio Conte as a player and manager, it is clear he has no interest in anything but winning and perfection.

As Andre Pirlo once said about Conte, “he is allergic to failure.” That sums up everything you need to know about the mentality of a winner. Chelsea desperately need to hang on to Antonio Conte. Roman Abramovich needs to lock him up in Stamford Bridge and throw away the key.

The entire football world thought Manchester City was the squad to talk about at the start of the season, having signed “the world’s best manager”. Antonio Conte flew under the radar for some time as Pep Guardiola attracted all the attention. Conte is now trending upward at a alarming rate.

Now that the dust has settled from what is the Premier League season, the anticipation of seeing what these two world-class managers have in store for us all next season is unbearable. They have the summer transfer window to bring in their players and dive deeper into their preferred tactics with their respective teams. Most importantly, they can fully imprint their philosophy and personality upon the club.

Next season will the be the true test for each. Chelsea will have giant a bull’s-eye on their back. Everybody will want to give the champions their best shot. And everybody expects Pep Guardiola to have a big season after replacing the geriatric back half of his starting XI. But history tells us anything, we should also expect Antonio Conte to keep winning.
