Mohamed Salah
Egypt 2-0 Bosnia and Herzegovina
Tivoli-Neu, Innsbruck, Austria
Mohamed Salah started at forward for Egypt against Bosnia and Herzegovina but failed to record a shot on goal for the Pharoahs in a scoreless first half. He became more active in the second half and won a free kick in the Bosnia half in the 50th minute and assisted fellow forward Gedo with his goal in the 52nd minute to give Egypt a 1-0 lead. In the 64th minute, Salah got the reward for all his hard work and scored Egypt’s second goal of the day with a smart finish from the center of the box. He was later substituted in the 90th minute but it was just to give another player a run out. It was good to see Salah get a full ninety minutes and his impact was obvious with an assist and a goal to his name on the day.
