After recent results, fans of Chelsea FC will go into the final game of the season knowing their beloved Blues will have no chance at winning the league championship. It also means Chelsea fans will endure something they haven’t been used to recently, going an entire season without winning a trophy.

As with any other big club, the pressure to win now is immense. Fans around the world have seen Manchester United as an example; a “rebuild” type of year is just unacceptable for some teams. This is why you hear rumors of Chelsea wanting to bring in a big name forward, likely Diego Costa this summer. But do some of the answers for building a complete squad lie in the youth ranks?

Chelsea have an excellent youth setup, and it shows in their academy teams. Recently youngster Tomas Kalas got his chance in the starting XI. We’ve also seen Nathan Ake make appearances on the bench this season, but who else is waiting in the wings? Here are a couple of promising youth players that could make an impact in the future.
