Twitter Reactions to Atletico Madrid’s La Liga Title Victory

Atletico Madrid earned a hard fought draw at the Camp Nou against Barcelona and were able to capture their first La Liga title since 1996. Atletico did so with Diego Costa and Arda Turan being forced off with injury in the first 25 minutes of the match. Atletico have a fierce, if not very big, following around the world and many neutrals were rooting for them to win the title ahead of the usual favorites Barcelona and Real Madrid.
