Willian should be higher on this list simply because of how much he hates Tottenham Hotspur. OK, he really doesn’t hate Spurs but he was well on his way to signing for the North London club before Chelsea swooped in and outbid for the Brazilian’s services. His arrival was greeted with some head-scratching but he has dispelled all those concerns by forcing his way in to the first team with his tireless running and defensive work. His shooting from range is excellent as well as his speed on the counter which is world class.
The primary concern when it comes to Willian is his inability to deliver the killer pass. He often waits too long for the play to develop and if he is caught in a trap, he will try to beat the defender rather than making the decisive pass. His profile has risen considerably since making the move from Russia and his star will continue to rise if he keeps up this level of intensity and performance.
