This goal against Aston Villa was the second goal in an eventual 8-0 drubbing so it came at a time when the match was still very much in doubt. This was a similar situation to the goal against Nordsjaelland in its setup and delivery. Again both Luiz and Lampard were over the ball but from a more central position than the previous goal and again it was Luiz who stepped up to take it.

He hit the ball with his familiar side footed technique and again it had both the accuracy to make it over the wall but also the power to leave the keeper stranded. This time however it did not need a touch off the post to find the back of the net.
