Atsu is joined in the squad by former Chelsea FC man Michael Essien. Essien made the move to AC Milan on a free transfer last summer after Chelsea released him from his contract as a reward for his years of service to the club. He has not had the best of seasons with the club and has yet to score for the Rossoneri but is still a legendary figure in his native country. His experience and leadership are his best traits now but he is still capable of imposing his will on a match but not nearly as often as he used to when he earned the nickname “The Bison”.
