David Luiz will no longer be a Chelsea player after the World Cup but until he passes the medical examination and the transfer window opens, he is still technically a member of the Blues. Luiz is one of the leaders on this Brazil squad and was selected by Felipe Scolari as one of the captains.

Luiz will partner with his future club teammate Thiago Silva in the heart of Brazil’s defense and will look to snuff out attacks and create swift counters with his long balls and passing skills. It is a shame that David Luiz will get to show the world what he is capable of but as a future PSG player rather than a longtime Blue.
