My favorite Ashley Cole moment was his play during the 2012 Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona. Cole was outstanding in both matches at Stamford Bridge and Camp Nou and he played two perfect games against what was one of the greatest club teams of all-time.

Ashley Cole made every play that he had to and also had a brilliant goal-line clearance (as always) in the first leg to keep the scores level. It was also his clearance in the second leg that sent Fernando Torres through to score the goal that sent Chelsea to Munich. I will always remember the leadership he displayed in that match, as he willed Chelsea on after John Terry had been sent off. His sheer determination helped to give us the famous win.
