Now that Luis Suarez has set off for Barcelona, Daniel Sturridge now finds himself with no imposing ego to share the limelight with at Liverpool. As he proved while Suarez was banned in the early games of last season, Sturridge is more than capable of leading a prolific attack in the Premier League thanks to his impressive understanding with Raheem Sterling.
What’s more, the former Chelsea man will be joined by Rickie Lambert, a proven Premier League scorer, and it seems either Loïc Rémy , who’s impressed with his clinical threat at QPR and Newcastle, or Lille’s Divock Origi, who on occasion started ahead of Romelu Lukaku in Belgium’s quarter-final World Cup run.
