Age: 18
Ruben Loftus Cheek may be a bit of a wildcard, as he is not involved in this pre season tour. However he represents real quality, as he is a very talented player. He is a tall robust midfielder who can carry the ball from box to box. He doesn’t score a lot but he is more of a creator. If Loftus-Cheek is to be introduced into the first team he will most likely be played in a central role alongside a more experienced player like Matic. Loftus-Cheek would be a great candidate for a championship loan to get a better idea of how good he really is. I personally think he will be the opposite of Josh Mceachran and eventually break into Mourinho’s team.
