Here are Romelu Lukaku’s comments from the press conference:
"“I decided quickly I wanted to come back. Here I have the trust of the staff and supporters. I have a good relationship with the players. This is the place where I belong. I think I can improve in every aspect. My goalscoring is record is good but I want to get better in every area. Here is a good place to develop as a young player. We have an ambitious manager. I don’t set individual targets. I just want to help my team do better than last season.”Source: Everton FC Twitter"
This transfer has left Chelsea fans with mixed feelings as some loved Romelu Lukaku and others never liked his attitude in a Chelsea shirt. Whatever the case may have been, the deal is all but done and there is no use in wondering what could or should have been.
