Chelsea FC Squad Numbers for the 14/15 Season

Not a classic squad number by any means. Taken by players such as fan favourites Paulo Ferreira and Demba Ba in recent seasons, no player has really made it his own. This may well change in the coming seasons with Diego Costa taking the number 19 shirt.

If Diego Costa is to repeat his goal scoring form of last season, the number 19 shirt may well earn legendary status at the Bridge. We saw it with Didier Drogba that he started with the number 15 shirt, before taking number 11 when it became free. Costa has been ominous in pre-season and Chelsea fans are more than ready to throw all their love towards a striker who scores goals.
