Didier Drogba Is Most Requested Chelsea FC Shirt – World Soccer Shop
This news should come as no surprise but according to soccer retail giants World Soccer Shop, Didier Drogba’s number 11 shirt is the most requested customized Chelsea FC jersey so far this season. New signings Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa are also on the list but Eden Hazard comes in second.

Didier Drogba returned to Chelsea after a two year hiatus and despite not being first choice, is still one of the most popular players in the squad. He lead the Blues to nearly every club trophy and forged a special relationship with Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge and around the world.

Drogba has yet to make an impact in this short season but he will have many more chances to do so before the year is up. Even at 36 years old Drogba can still use his physicality and technical ability to bully opposing defenses and bang in goals at a high level.
His age has robbed him of his once fantastic pace but he still has his legendary power and of course his confidence as well. He showed his willingness to shoot when he came on late against Burnley and may even be in line to start against Swansea City this weekend if Diego Costa is unable to go. If that is indeed the case then Chelsea are in good hands with the King of Stamford Bridge leading the line.
