2nd Chelsea Goal (56’)

The third goal of the game came in the 56th minute when Diego Costa shot over the save of Fabianski, securing his second consecutive brace. The goal was started by a nice passing combination between Fàbregas and Eden Hazard. When the Belgian received the ball it attracted the attention of all four Swansea players around him letting Fàbregas slip behind the defense and get in a dangerous position. Swansea’s Ashley Williams rushed to challenge the ball leaving Costa onside and open at the edge of the six-yard box. A well-timed pass evaded Williams’ challenge and went straight to the left foot of the in-form striker, who’s shot rose underneath the crossbar. Chelsea had gained control of the match and looked to extend their lead.
