Eden Hazard on playing with Joe Cole:
“Yes. He said to me before, when we were at Lille, ‘You have to be at Chelsea, because it is the right club for you’. I said, ‘Okay, Joe, okay, I will go!’ (laughing).
“Yes and did when we played against him with West Ham last season.”
On watching Chelsea win the Champions League:
“Of course. I was in a hotel in Lille. I remember one guy; Didier Drogba, and Petr Cech. Yes . When they won the Champions League, after that season, I chose Chelsea. Now I am very happy. I hope we can win the Champions League again.”
Eden Hazard on having a point to prove:
“I can be better. Last season was very good, and the first season as well. Now I am in the third season and if I can win trophies, it could be better.
“Personally, if I continue like this and score more goals and make more assists, but most important is trophies at the end.”
The exclusive interview was part of a EA Sports sponsored FIFA 15 promotion which Eden Hazard is the cover boy for. The FIFA cover along with his stellar play is one of the many reasons that Chelsea’s young superstar is on a meteoric rise in the world of football that will hopefully continue in this year’s Champions League.
