Loic Remy came on late in last Saturday’s Premier League matchup with Swansea City and capped a fine Chelsea performance with a well taken goal. The goal came at the end of a fine passing move between Eden Hazard and Oscar as Loic Remy found himself all alone in the Swansea box.

With one swing of his right boot, Loic Remy became the 433rd player to ever score for Chelsea and marked his debut the best way a striker can. Remy is more known for his pace but his finishing is also top-notch. He showed that side of his game with his finish against Swansea but he is also capable of getting in behind defenses with blistering pace.
Here is Loic Remy’s goal in case you missed it on Saturday:

After the match, Loic Remy spoke about the goal on his debut and said, “For me it was amazing. I’m a striker and a striker wants to score. I was very happy after the goal and after the result.”
He also acknowledged that he has some stiff competition if he wants to become the number one striker in Diego Costa. Remy said “Diego Costa is on fire at the minute and that’s good for the team. It’s good for the team to have his quality. I really hope we’re going to stay at the same level. Even if I’m on the bench I try to do my best and score goals.”
With Chelsea set to featured in so many competitions, Loic Remy will certainly get his chance to impress the fans at Stamford Bridge. If he keeps getting service like he did on the weekend and showing the same finishing ability, he should have no problem scoring his fair share of goals.
