Chelsea FC striker Diego Costa already has a tremendous goal scoring record for the Blues but he claims that he has not set a personal target for himself. In comments to the Independent, Diego Costa reaffirmed his team-first attitude by saying that “the most important thing is that the team is playing well” and they certainly are.

The Blues have yet to lose this season and currently sit top of the Premier League table. At times they have looked like world beaters and much of that has to do with the form of Diego Costa. When he is on form and banging in goals, Chelsea look like the best team in the Premier League and possibly Europe.
"“I don’t like to put a personal goal target. I can’t always score but the important thing is that the team did not lose. I always try to improve but the most important thing is that the team is playing well and if the team does well I am sure I will also do fine.”“Didier [Drogba] and [Loic] Remy are great strikers. Everyone knows Didier’s story. We know that we must continue working. The important thing is to have a healthy competition to help the team to be better. I think there’s a great atmosphere in the dressing room. No rivalry. We just fight to improve. Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas are great players. It is very easy to play with guys with such a talent. We understand each other very well.”-Diego CostaSource: Independent"
The depth Chelsea has at striker is impressive but it would be foolish to believe that they can get far without their main man Diego Costa. The Spanish striker is the key to Chelsea’s success this season and the competition with Loic Remy and Didier Drogba will only make him and the team better. It is a good thing Diego Costa is enjoying that competition because it will define him and the rest of his teammates this season.
