Kiwomya also featured in last month’s draw with Germany but he believes that this squad must treat each match as equally important and live up to expectations. He is joined the squad by another Chelsea FC youngster in Izzy Brown who he believes has the quality to make an impact for the squad.

"“Everyone looks at England teams as one of the top countries in football. We are always expected to do well in every age group and we don’t want to be the ones to let the country down. We have got to live up to those expectations. We can’t slack off in any of these games, we can’t think that there will be a next time. It’s must-win.The fact they are a bit younger than the rest of the lads doesn’t mean a thing. They have definitely got the quality and the fact they already have winners’ medals means they have got that experience which can hopefully help the rest of the team. But we also need the older players this week, players like Bryn [Morris] who keeps us on our toes and keeps on encouraging us. We’ve got some big characters here and they will all step up.”Source: TheFA.com"

Alex Kiwomya joined Chelsea from Rotherham United in 2010 and has played for the U21s since he arrived. Kiwomya has a footballing pedigree as the son of Andy Kiwomya who played for 16 lower league teams from 1985 to 2004. He has scored an impressive 32 goals in 82 appearances for different age groups in the Chelsea youth setup and is one of the bright prospects in the England camp as well. He is a tremendous athlete who is signed with Chelsea FC until 2016 and hopefully his development continues the way it has been since he arrived at Cobham.
