One of the few drawbacks of having a squad full of senior internationals is that they have commitments to their national teams during the FIFA imposed breaks. A vast majority of Chelsea FC’s squad is being called out on international duty for friendlies and tournament qualifier during this two week international break. Here is hoping they return to Cobham healthy and injury-free

Here is the list of the Chelsea FC players who will be in action for their respective national teams on Friday, October 10th:

Chelsea FC will have two representatives in the Belgium squad facing Andorra on Friday evening. Eden Hazard is the talisman of the Belgium Red Devils and will more than likely be starting in his familiar role on the left wing. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is reportedly back in training and in line to start but manager Marc Wilmots has said that he is comfortable benching him if necessary.

Andorra is another minnow of European football but they gave Gareth Bale and Wales a run for their money in a 2-1 loss in September. Belgium does also have the advantage of playing Andorra at home so they will have the backing of a rowdy crowd hungry to support their World Cup quarterfinal heroes. At this time last year Chelsea FC had four representatives in this Belgium squad but Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne have made moves elsewhere.

Goalkeeper Petr Cech is in action for the Czech Republic in their Euro 2016 qualifier against Turkey. The match is taking place at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Turkey and if the club stadiums are any indication this will be a cauldron that Petr Cech and his countrymen are stepping in to. Petr Cech had a rough game the last time these two countries met in Euro 2008 where he had two absolute howlers that gifted Turkey the match in the group stage. He has matured significantly since then and even made light of the incident on Twitter.
