Chelsea FC midfielder Eden Hazard must be exhausted from answering this question at least once a week. He is a Belgian international so moving to Paris would not be a return home and he is paid handsomely enough at Chelsea FC that money would not be a motivation for the move. He has stated time and time again that a move to Ligue 1 would be a step back in his career and that he is only looking forward at this time. Maybe a sentimental move back to Lille may be in the cards before he retires but that is not anything to worry about for a long time.
"“I’ve always been clear – I feel good at Chelsea. Every week I repeat the same on PSG. It’s a big team, but an inferior league. I don’t want to return to France, because I’ve won everything over there – the league title, cup, best player, best young player.”“I don’t want to say PSG is a step backwards, but It would be returning to something I already know. I’m always in for new challenges. When I will leave Chelsea one day, it would be to discover something new.”Source: Telegraph"
Will the questions about a move to PSG ever stop for Eden Hazard? Yes, but they will simply be replaced with questions about moves to Real Madrid or some other club that can afford his services. Luckily for Chelsea FC fans, Eden Hazard has never wavered in his commitment to the club and is always saying the right things when asked these types of questions.
