Chelsea legend Didier Drogba had nothing but great things to say about Diego Costa in the last week. He expressed his delight with the key role he played in Chelsea’s lightning-fast start to the season.
"“What I like in him is his character. We are quite similar, we never give up. That’s one point that makes me smile and respect him more. This start he’s made is fantastic. It’s what all strikers are dreaming of and he will want to continue because the season will be long and we will need him for important games. That’s why the squad is big with a lot of quality players. He is doing the job, he is doing what he has to do for the team to win trophies.”Source: Express"
It’s not just Drogba who’s pleased with Costa so far, everyone is. He’s snagged 9 goals in only 7 games and is on track to get a ridiculous amount by the end of the season.

The Spaniard, who is not going to be fit for Chelsea’s Champions League clash with Maribor due to a hamstring problem, signed from Atletico Madrid for £32m this summer. He has undeniably been Chelsea’s key man this season, performing well above the standard that Jose Mourinho had for him.
We hope Diego Costa can have a quick return, but it’s always nice to get to see more Drogba, right?
