Chelsea FC midfielder Nemanja Matic reflected on the Blues’ draw with Manchester United on the weekend and was not happy with the result. Though he was unhappy with the draw he was still somewhat satisfied with the fact that Chelsea FC came away with a tough away point in a place that is usually hard on visiting teams in Old Trafford.

That feeling of annoyance with the draw but the acceptance of getting a point has been echoed by many of the Chelsea FC players. It does go to show you how far the Blues have come and how far the Red Devils have dropped that Chelsea is disappointed only coming away with one point from the so called “theater of dreams”.
"“Of course we are not happy because we conceded a goal in the last moments. But we won a point and that’s still very important for us. Old Trafford is not an easy place to get points. In the end you never know what is going to decide the championship, but maybe this point will be crucial for us.“It’s a good feeling (being top) but also a big responsibility because now everyone wants to win against us, they have extra motivation. It’s normal. We have done well and deserve to be in this position. It’s good for our team, it gives us confidence. There are not a lot of teams who have gone nine games without a loss – we are the only team in the league to have done that this season. We are happy because of that.”Source: Daily Star"
Just as Nemanja Matic said, the Blues must get used to playing with a target on their back. It is already difficult playing every week with the pressure of simply being a big club but the added pressure of being top of the league makes it all that much harder. Luckily for Chelsea they have a squad full of veteran leadership mixed with youthful exuberance to be able to overcome that pressure and hopefully maintain that lead at the top of the table.
