Chelsea FC midfielder Oscar discussed his goal against QPR and praised his teammate Cesc Fabregas for the assist and everything else he does for the team. The goal came at the end of some lovely work by Fabregas and Diego Costa but Cesc was the architect of the move as he drew the defense out to the top of box and found Oscar streaking in from the right side.

The Brazilian finished off the move with an unbelievable finish with the outside of his right boot from an unreal angle. The goal reminded all of us what Oscar was truly capable of just in case we did not already know. The ever humble Oscar and all he could say of it was that it “was a nice goal” and it was much more than that.
Oscar on his goal againsnt QPR and his teammate Cesc Fabregas:
"“Cesc gave a beautiful pass to me. It was perfect for shooting and when the ball came I decided now, I need to shoot. I don’t know if it is my best goal, I need to see it again, but it was a nice goal.Cesc helps the team so much. Not just with the assists but in a game he helps everyone, with beautiful passes like the one for me in this game. He has come in this year and played so well and I like playing together with him.”Source: ChelseaFC.com"
Oscar has proven with some very big goals in recent weeks that he is maturing as a player and as a scorer in Jose Mourinho’s system. He works hard in defense and attack and it could be argued that he is the player Mourinho wanted Juan Mata to be. Fabregas has proven to be even more important to the Chelsea attack than Oscar and he is the man pulling the strings in midfield. He leads the Premier League in assists because of his fantastic vision but also because of the great talents like Oscar around him.
