Chelsea FC midfielder Victor Moses is on loan at Stoke City but says he has not given his future any thought and is simply enjoying playing football at the moment. Moses has been a key figure at Stoke this season and has one goal to his name but has also contributed to the Potters’ cause with three assists in the Premier League in eight appearances.
Victor Moses had one season at Chelsea FC where he was a regular in the starting lineup in 2012-13 and he was integral to the club’s Europa League campaign but only managed one goal in 23 appearances in the Premier League. He has proven to be a quality winger at the Premier League but not quite good enough to start or even make the bench at Chelsea FC.
Victor Moses on not thinking about his future at Stoke City:
"“I’m still a Chelsea player. I am here to help Stoke as a club to make sure they are in the right position in the Premier League. And I will keep working hard and trying to help the team as long as I am here. The fans have been fantastic for me so far. Singing my name really helps me to go out determined to work even harder to help keep the club in a good position and to keep the fans happy. I just want to play football and obviously the manager has given me the opportunity. I’m starting to enjoy my football again.”Source: Sky Sports"
So with all signs pointing to Victor Moses not being quite good enough for Chelsea FC, where does that leave him and the club at the end of the season? The best case scenario would be for Victor Moses to continue his good form for the Potters, or improve it, and see his value go up so the Blues can sell him to the highest bidder in the summer.
The Blues only spent £9 million on the winger from Wigan Athletic two years ago and likely will not get that money back in a future sale but a £5 or £6 million fee is realistic and should be enough to seal the deal on a move away from Stamford Bridge for Victor Moses. Moses helped the Blues win their Europa League trophy but that may be his last act in a competitive match for Chelsea FC.
