Chelsea FC Transfer Rumors: Andre Schurrle To Be Used In Trade For Marco Reus

Former Bundesliga Champions Borussia Dortmund surprisingly sit in 15th place in the Bundesliga. After getting stripped of Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski in the past few years, Borussia Dortmund has lost its power and strength in its attack; however, Marco Reus has stayed and proven himself loyal to the Dortmund based club. But if Reus wants success and a better opportunity of improving then he has to leave Dortmund. Recently Chelsea FC has been linked with a transfer for the German International.

Chelsea FC have an extremely talented attack, but if they can get a player of Reus’ calibre on the right wing to replace Willian or  Schurrle then they could very well have an attack as powerful as that of current Bundesliga Champions, Bayern Münich, or current Champions League winners, Real Madrid.

It is rumored that current Chelsea wide-man, Andre Schurrle, could be involved in a potential swap for Reus, be it a direct swap or Schurrle plus some cash. It is a trade that will benefit all parties involved as Reus would finally be able to compete in the worlds biggest league, BVB would get a direct replacement and maybe some cash, Chelsea FC will finally be able to find someone to complement Hazard on the other side of the field and Schurrle will get more playing time.

If Borussia Dortmund keep performing poorly in the Bundesliga then the pacey winger might feel forced to leave his boyhood in search of better results and better pay since he currently gets paid a reported 65k pounds a week according to whatfootballersearn.com. Chelsea could surely double that wage with ease once they get Schurrle off the books.

Marco Reus might not want to leave Dortmund and vice-versa, but if the man wants a proper shot at the Ballon D’Or and the Champions League then leaving the Signal Iduna Park may be the only way.
