Former Chelsea FC midfielder Frank Leboeuf has backed the Blues to win the title because they are, as he described them, cold blooded warriors. Frank Leboeuf won six trophies with Chelsea FC including two FA Cups and League Cup in 1997, 1998, and 2000. Leboeuf was also a member of the France squad that won the World Cup in 1998 and the European Championships in 2000 so he knows a thing or two about winning titles in a blue shirt.

Frank Leboeuf is currently pursuing an acting career but still follows his beloved Blues very closely and was asked for his thoughts on the Premier League title race this season. He said, “Manchester City and Chelsea for me are the contenders for the title, but Chelsea will win it, and they will win the Champions League as well”. He believes Chelsea FC will win because “they have the squad, and they have the coach. I am very confident.”
Frank Leboeuf on the Chelsea FC squad’s title hopes:
"“Mourinho has players who are fighters. They are so strong – real warriors. But they are also players with great technique, and that is the difference. These are players who have cold heads and cold blood. They can play in the Premier League but they also know the Champions League so well. Warriors. Everybody knows John Terry. I am so fond of him. He has always been a warrior for them. But look at Branislav Ivanovic. An absolute fighter. So consistent, so reliable, he never ever gives up. He has been one of Chelsea’s best players of the last few years. He can play in several different positions and he scores goals as well. A great player.”"
Leboeuf also had great praise for Chelsea FC’s other Serbian international Nemanja Matic:
"“Matic is a monster. He is like Patrick Viera in his time at Arsenal. He is not a star and he does not want to be a star. He is a sentinel. He patrols that space in front of the centre-halves and he shuts the opposition down. A great young player. He is like Viera, and like Paul Pogba at Juventus; good players who are strong technically. He can pass the ball and he can score goal. An all-round player.”"
Frank Lebioeuf is not alone in his belief that Chelsea FC will win the Premier League title and their dominant start has shown that they are capable of doing so. The Blues have been in position to win every league game so far and their draws came courtesy of late goals by the opposition.
The Blues have shown tremendous fight this season and that was typified once again in their defeat of Liverpool after conceding an early goal. They showed the cold blooded nature Frank Leboeuf praised them for and used their warrior spirit to overcome a feisty Liverpool side at their home ground.
