Chelsea Players on International Duty

As yet again we halt Premier League play to enjoy some international friendly and qualification matches, we take a look at all of the Chelsea FC players who have been called up to play for their respective national teams.
Spain (Belarus: qualifier & Germany: friendly)- Only one Spaniard is joining La Furia Roja in their international games and that is Cesar Azpilicueta. Cesc Fabregas has withdrawn from the squad with a muscle injury and Diego Costa has not received the call-up due to his previous mystery injury which halted his international play last break.
England (Slovenia: qualifier & Scotland: friendly)- Gary Cahill is declaring himself to be fit for England’s qualifier against Slovenia after missing training on Tuesday with a hip problem.
Brazil (Turkey & Austria: friendlies) Willian, Oscar, and Filipe Luis are all gearing up for Brazil’s two friendlies against Turkey and Austria. Ramires hasn’t been called-up because he has just come back from injury.
Germany (Gibraltar: qualifier & Spain: friendly) World Cup winner Andre Schurrle has been called up to play for the World Champions as they look to snag what should be an easy 3 points from Gibraltar and play Spain in a thriller.
Belgium (Iceland: friendly & Wales: qualifier) The Hazard brothers, Eden and Thorgan, are in Belgium’s squad who look to replace Wales as first place in the qualifying group.
France (Albania & Sweden: friendlies) Kurt Zouma was originally called up into the U-21s, but got the senior call after fitness worries doubted the play of two senior defenders. The hosts for the Euro 2016s qualify automatically. Loic Remy is on a standby call.
Czech Republic (Iceland: qualifier) Petr Cech is in his nation’s team for their single qualifying game against Iceland.
Serbia (Denmark: qualifier & Greece: friendly) Nemanja Matic and Branislav Ivanovic are in Serbia’s squad for the big home qualifier against Denmark and the Greece friendly.
Egypt (Senegal & Tunisia: qualifiers) Mohamed Salah‘s Egypt is struggling in the African Cup of Nations qualifying, but look to beat both teams who are above them in the group this break.
Nigeria (Congo & South African: qualification) John Mikel Obi and Kenneth Omeruo face crucial Cup of Nations qualifiers against Congo and South Africa. Victor Moses did not receive a call-up.
Ghana (Uganda: qualifier) Ghana only has one qualifier this break, and Christian Atsu looks to feature in that game.
Burkina Faso (Lesotho: qualifier) Bertrand Traore, the Vitesse man, who is on loan away from Chelsea has gotten the call-up from Burkina Faso.
Belgium U-21s (Spain & Norway: friendlies) Charly Musonda is in Belgium’s U-21 group for their upcoming friendlies.
England U-21s (Portugal & France: friendlies) Patrick Bamford and Nathaniel Chalobah are in the England U-21 squad for they tough tests against Portugal and France
Denmark U-21s (Czech Republic & Italy: friendlies) Andres Christensen has gotten the call-up from the Denmark U-21 team to play a pair of friendlies this break.
Netherlands U-21 (Germany: friendly) Nathan Ake looks to have a solid performance for the Netherlands in a tough friendly against Germany.
England U-20 (Canada & Portugal: friendlies) Lewis Baker and John Swift are in England’s U-20 squad for their two friendlies.
England U-19 (Italy: friendly) A lot of youngsters are in the U-19 squad against Italy, including Ola Aina, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Charlie Colkett, Izzy Brown and Alex Kiwomya.
England U-18 (Poland x2: friendlies) The England U-18s play Poland twice in three days as Jake Clarke-Salter and Dominic Solanke are set to play as well as Izzy Brown who is also playing in the U-19 squad before the U-18 games.
France U-19 (Mini Tournament) Jeremie Boga looks to take part in a mini tournament for France in Greece.
Sweden U-19 (Mini Tournament) Ali Suljic is in Sweden’s U-19 squad for their mini tournament in Israel.
