Hulk Says Chelsea FC Transfer Would Be A Waste

Year after year, Chelsea FC is linked with the footballer known as Hulk. The powerful Brazilian left winger has been linked with a move to the club ever since his early days at Porto. There’s no doubt that he would fit right into Chelsea FC and the Premier League, with his tough play style and pace, and would learn the ropes from the current Brazilian Chelsea players.

But, Hulk has come out and said himself that going to a team like Chelsea would be no use for him with the great players that the club has in the midfield. If he were to join he would have to contend with Willian, Andre Schurrle, Mohamed Salah, and to a lesser extent Loic Remy.

While he could likely beat out  Mohamed Salah and perhaps even Schurrle, but why come be a little fish in a big pond when he can be a big fish in a small, but very cold, pond in Russia? Hulk claims that most of his time would be spent on the bench if the move was to happen, and it is clear to see why.

"“Of course I know that some clubs call more attention than others, but the important thing is I’m fine. No use going to Real Madrid or Chelsea and lack opportunities to play. Whether or not a big club, I know there are clubs that have their eye on me.”Source: A Bola"

At this point, we’re all basically sick of hearing about this ongoing transfer speculation with a player who we don’t particularly need, though it would add another layer of depth to our squad. Whether or not he comes to Stamford Bridge, which seems very unlikely after this statement, it won’t really matter too much for the club.
