He has started every one of Chelsea FC’s Premier League matches and has helped the Blues become the best defense in the league once again.

For John Terry, ESPN selected him because “With a manager (Jose Mourinho) who believes in him and a partner (Gary Cahill) with the legs to cover for him, Terry is enjoying one of his finest campaigns in recent years”. Terry is not just enjoying a great campaign compared to recent seasons, but compared to his whole career. It is remarkable that a player of 34 is still capable of not only keeping up with the pace of the Premier League but to thrive in it.
