There are reports that Chelsea FC have agreed to a transfer and subsequent loan deal for 23-year-old Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric.
Kramaric is one of Croatia’s top prospects, having netted himself an impressive 27 goals in 26 appearances this season playing for HNK Rijeka in the Croatian top flight.
The striker has also represented Croatia at every level internationally as well, making him a very season player at such a young age.
Chelsea is too have beaten Leicester City and Serie A giant Juventus for his signature, but Kramaric is to be sent to Leicester on loan to finish the second half of the season.
The loan deal makes sense, as there is currently no place for him with this year’s squad. It will be interesting to see what happens next year, as Didier Drogba, currently at the ripe age of 37 may be playing in his final season at the club (for real this time), and the possible introduction of Patrick Bamford next year, as he has impressed in every loan spell that he has been at.
Kramaric could easily end up being another highly touted prospect that Chelsea have snapped up to be sold at a much, much higher fee at a later point in time.
