Also talking about Mohammed Salah’s move on loan to Fiorentina in the other direction he said
“The club has done the right thing because we are also getting a very good player.Naturally, we need to understand how long he ( Salah) will need to adapt to our football as it’s different from the English and Swiss leagues.”
It has also been rumoured by several media outlets that Juan Cuadrado will arrive in London tomorrow to have his medical. £23.3 Million is the price also named by the Guardian.
Chelsea FC’s transfer window has been a strange one as it has only ever been strongly rumoured of players leaving. Mark Schwarzer, Andre Schurrle and Mohammed Salah look like they are all expected to be leaving, while Juan Cuadrado is the only player to arrive in this window. It will be interesting to see in what role Juan Cuadrado plays in the squad.
Willian has already established himself as a Jose Mourinho type player. He has an amazing work ethic, constantly tracking back and helping out defensively. The only thing that has ever been questioned is Willian’s quality in the final third.
Whilst his defensive work is a great benefit, Jose Mourniho has this season gone for more of an attack minded game, based around free flowing attack minded football. Although Willian, as a Brazilian has the technical ability to help out in attack when we are in a flow. It’s that finishing clinical touch that really matters and being able to have three players behind Diego Costa that all know have to find the back of the net would be of big benefit.

Cuadrado was one of the many players who impressed during last Summer’s World Cup. Even in the summer there was talk of him maybe making a summer move to The Premier League with Manchester United being the main club after the right winger. But, this is a brilliant signing for the club. Simply because we’ve been able to ship out Salah who look destined to stay. Nothing’s been confirmed on Schurrle either who I still have a soft spot for but if Cuadrado arrives I can only see one route for Andre, and that’s the door.
At this point on the morning of Saturday 31st January, It seems everyone except Chelsea FC are confirming any interest but expect that news to be released today at the earliest.
