On a very dull January deadline day for most of the teams in the Premier League, Chelsea FC managed to make four deals. Loaning out Mohamed Salah to Fiorentina, bringing in Juan Cuadrado from Florence, selling Ryan Bertrand off to Southampton, and sealing the exit of Andre Schurrle to Wolfsburg.

Andre Schurrle was a great player for the Blues when given the chance and he managed to score quite a few goals in his year and half spell at Chelsea. His total comes out to 14 goals in 65 appearances but many of those came as a late substitute. Schurrle also had a knack for scoring goals in big games including the opener in two matches and Manchester City and the goal that spurred on the comeback against PSG.
