The first goal the German scored for the Blues was in the friendly tournament in the United States, The Guinness International Cup. Gary Cahill sent the ball over the top to Romelu Lukaku who square it for Victor Moses. Moses found Schurrle lurking by the penalty spot and sent a chipped cross towards the German. Schurrle shook off his marker and volleyed the pall perfectly into the bottom corner of the net. Very composed and well taken shot all around.
