This one is a bit of a 2 for 1 special as Andre Schurrle scored two goals against Stoke City on this day. It was a match Chelsea ended up losing 3-2 but through no fault of Schurrle’s as he pulled Chelsea in front and then back level at 2-2. The first goal at 1:25 is an example of Schurrle’s direct play where he runs straight at defenders and lets loose a well placed shot to beat the keeper.

The second goal, seen at the 4:50 mark, is another example of his excellent finishing. Juan Mata floated a cross in to the Stoke box and it was headed right to Schurrle. He blasted the half-volley back towards goal and in to the bottom corner.
