For the second consecutive home game against Everton, Chelsea FC had to wait till the dying minutes of the game to secure the goal that guaranteed 3 points. But to be honest, Chelsea’s play merited more than just the lone goal, although we have Petr Cech to thank for the fact that the game didn’t go the way many of our games went last season… losing against the run of play. Lone goal losses against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace which came against the run of play cost us the league title last season. It was an impressive performance all round and every player (except maybe Cuadrado) performed admirably. Here are my observations from a thrilling encounter…
