Now that another English Premier League season is coming to a close, some of the boys at The Pride of London have gotten together to make the end a bit more fun! We have created a points structure for predicting the games of the Top 5 teams in the league every week, from now until the end of the season!

The point structure is very simple. Every week, the participants will submit their guesses for score, first goal scorer, and Man of The Match (MoTM) (as per whoscored.com). The points are tallied like this:

  • One point is awarded for guessing the correct out come (correct winner, or draw)
  • Two points are given for guessing the first goalscorer, another two are given for guessing the MoTM
  • Three points are given for guessing the exact right score.
  • Finally, if somebody gets every guess right for one game, they get one extra point, so there are a total of 9 points to be earned per game.

Let’s take a quick look at how the table stands this week, and get started!
