Chelsea FC isn’t in the best of shape at the moment. The whole squad is going through a bad phase where there is a lingering fatigue regardless of the time they are getting between each fixtures. Due to the lack of rotation, the Blues have founded a winning formula, but at the cost of the vital players losing their legs at this crucial time of the season.

Chelsea are 6 points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand. From the looks of it, it is a very comfortable position to be in and with the squad Mourinho boasts of, the Premier League crown should be heading to West London come May.

In the first half of the season, there seemed to be no weakness in the roster as the attacking elements of Costa and Fabregas along with Hazard were picking defenses apart, along with the security of Matic and Terry and Co. acted like a wall which seemed to be unbreachable.

But with the onset of 2015, cracks started to appear in the Chelsea shield, as many teams such as PSG, Tottenham and recently Hull City breached the back line time and time again. Also, Fabregas’s post new year slump seems to be continuing which is resulting in a stuttering in the seemingly fluid Chelsea attack which we witnessed in the first half of the season.

Mourinho claims that Chelsea will have a quiet summer transfer window but I beg to differ. I think our squad has a great depth but still some re-arrangements are needed if we are to compete against the best teams in the League and Europe next season. There are 5 points which I think Chelsea should do to strengthen their squad, and they are as follows.
